SOUTH WEST INSTITUTE FOR TEACHING (SWIFT)
SWIFT is one of the Department for Education’s pioneering Teaching School Hubs with a key target to deliver Initial Teaching Training.
We are committed to supporting our partners in providing high quality and effective training to ensure our teachers join the profession feeling confident and competent, and ready to rise to the challenge to enjoy a fulfilling career in teaching.
Working with our partners within the region, we independently support Initial Teacher Training recruitment and retention by signposting organisations that provide routes into teaching with a view to simplifying the process of applying to become a teacher.
