Initial Teacher Training with SWIFT

The South West Institute for Teaching
is one of the Department for Education’s Teaching School Hubs
with a key target to deliver Initial Teaching Training

SWIFT are committed to supporting our partners in providing high quality and effective training to ensure our teachers join the profession feeling confident and competent, and ready to rise to the challenge
to enjoy a fulfilling career in teaching.

Working with our partners within the Devon, Plymouth and Torbay region, we independently support Initial Teacher Training recruitment and retention by signposting organisations that provide routes
​into teaching with a view to simplifying the process of applying to become a teacher.
